Tesla’s Model 3 was unveiled on March 31st, but until recently images of the vehicle did not included a shot of the open trunk. However, Tesla recently released a shot of the vehicle with the trunk open, teasing those who are wondering if the vehicle does indeed have a larger trunk, as was stated by Musk last July.
The original prototype model of the Model 3 drew criticism due to the tiny trunk space and opening the vehicle has. The vehicle will have a full reveal sometime in July, though a handle full of lucky people will get to see it close up at a viewing party at the beginning of June. It probably won’t be too much longer until we are able to see if the car does indeed have the promised trunk expansion.
The Tesla Model 3 is scheduled to enter limited production this July, and compete in the midsize sedan market. The Model 3 may have to compete with the Model S for sales, but despite this fact, the launch of the Model 3 looks promising. Tesla has said that they have taken around 325,000 reservations for the Model 3.
