Who Started This Site?
Renewsable.net was created by Chad French in early 2017 after noticing the decisions being made by U.S. President Donald Trump in regards to energy and climate change. While 97% of climate scientists agree, it should really be a no-brainer to understand how human activity is causing the planet to heat up. Humans have pumped trillions and trillions of tons of extra carbon-dioxide into our atmosphere and studies show that we’re consistently pushing 40 billion tons a year into the sky above. That’s a jaw-dropping 74 times more than all the combined volcanoes on our planet emit per year. We’re literally taking a resource from deep underground, turning it into a gas, and then releasing it into the air we depend on to live. This creates a greenhouse effect because the carbon gas cannot escape our atmosphere. It just sits there and builds up causing more and more heat to get trapped in our atmosphere. This gradual increase in heat affects everything from our weather patterns, to human health, to agriculture, to oceans, to economies. Our trees and oceans can only remove so much carbon out of the air every year. This is why we’re in trouble and this is why this site was created.
Our Mission
